Book History (In short)

Book, a art of Learning, a man can know something new. Many of us don't know, how and where the first book was made? Who made that? I write a little details about it. 

At the time of Mesopotamian, the first book was invented. But we can not think that as a books if we see, because that were made of clay. First they wrote on clay and after that they had burned it. At Nineveh, 22,000 tablets(burn clay book) were found, dating from the 7th century BC; this was the archive and library of the kings of Assyria, who had workshops of copyists and conservationists at their disposal. This presupposes a degree of organization with respect to books, consideration given to conservation, classification, etc.

বেশকিছু দিন আগে এক বন্ধুর সাথে কথা বলছিলাম। বন্ধুটি বিয়ে করেছে বছর তিনেক। মেয়েটি এসএসসি পাস। ইন্টার দেওয়ার আগেই বিয়ে হয়েছে। বন্ধুটিকে বললাম, 'দোস্ত তোর বউকে পড়াবি না?' কলেজে ভর্তি করে দে। তখন দেখি বন্ধুটির চোখ মুখ অন্যরকম হয়ে গেল। বলল, 'না। পড়াবো না।' কেন জানতে চাইলে উত্তর দিল, বেশি পড়াশুনা করে কি হবে? দুইদিন কলেজে যাবে, ছেলেদের সাথে মিশবে। ফোনে কথা বলবে। তারপর সময় পার হলে পাখি উড়াল দেবে। তখন? মধ্যবিত্ত আমরা। একটা চলে গেলে অন্য একটা বিয়ে করতে গেলে লোকেও নানান কথা বলবে। এরকম অনেক দেখেছি। পড়াশুনা করাবো আমি, খাওয়াবো আমি আর সময় গেলে আরেক জনের সাথে?' আমি মনে মনে বললাম 'তোর বোনকে তো পড়াচ্ছিস। ইন্টার পাস করেছে। ভার্সিটি এক্সাম দেবে। অথচ বউয়ের ক্ষেত্রে তা উল্টো। ভাবলাম মানুষ তো কত রকমের হয়। থাক বাদ দেই। কিন্তু ব্যাপারটা মনে গেথে গেল। কিছুদিন পর এক ক্লোজ বন্ধুর সাথে কথা বলছিলাম। এ কথা সেকথার প্রেক্ষিতে হঠাৎ বিয়ের কথা উঠলো। সে বলল, ' আমি বিয়ে করবো অল্প বয়সী মেয়ে। তাতে মেয়ে আমার কথা শুনবে। আমি বললাম, কেন? বেশি বয়স হলে কি কথা শুনবে না? এবার বন্...

Pohela Boisha is indeed a momentous occasion in the life of each and every Bangalee. It's the occasion to welcome the New Year with a new hope of peace, prosperity and goodwill. বাংলাদেশে ভবিষ্যতে কোন পেশার চাহিদা বেশি থাকবে?

১.সরকারী চাকরীঃ বাংলাদেশের পরিপেক্ষিতে সরকারি চাকরি যে সর্বদাই চাহিদাসম্পন্ন তা বলার অপেক্ষা রাখে না। ১৬ তম গ্রেড থেকে যত উপরে তাকাবেন তত বেশি চাহিদা সম্পন্ন চাকরী। চার বছর পরে কেন আগামী ১০ বছরেও এর চাহিদা বাড়বে বৈ কমবে না। ২. প্রোগ্রামারঃ প্রযুক্তিগত উন্নয়নের দিক দিয়ে ভবিষ্যতে প্রোগামিংকে পেশা হিসাবে নিলে ফেইল মারার কোন চান্স নেই। চাকরী না জোটাতে পারলেও আয়ের কোন একটা দিক ঠিকই বের করে নিতে পারবেন। ৩. ডাক্তারঃ ডাক্তারের চাহিদা আদি কাল থেকে অনাদিকাল পর্যন্ত। বিস্তারিত বলার কিছু নাই। ৪. ফার্মাসিস্টঃ ডাক্তারের লেজুড় বা সহযোগী হিসাবে এদের চাহিদাও প্রচুর। কারন কলমের খোচায় ঔষুধ লিখলেই তো আর হচ্ছে না, সেটা তৈরি তো করা দরকার। ৫. কৃষিবিদঃ খাদ্যচাহিদা পূরনে, আর উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধির জন্য কৃষিবিদের চাহিদা দিন দিন বাড়ছে। কিন্তু তুলনামূলক ভাবে দেখতে গেলে এ লাইনে পড়ুয়া ছাত্রের সংখ্যা অন্তত আমাদের দেশে অনেকই কম। সতুরাং এ লাইনে গেলে বাস্তবিক ভাবে চাকরীর অভাব হবে না। ৫. ভেটোনারী চিকিৎসকঃ কৃষিবিদের মতই অবস্থা, গরু ছাগলের ডাক্তার বলে লোকে ক্ষেপাতে পারে এই ভয়ে অনেকেই পিছিয়ে যায় এ পেশায় আসতে। দিনদিন চাহিদা বেড়েই...
